Lotus Flower.
A unique and beautiful Sculptural Float, the Lotus Flower plays music from within its petals and creates a serene glow as it internally lights up at night. The Lotus Flower is a symbol of Laxmi the Goddess of Art, Education and Learning.
The Lotus Flower can be presented as part of our larger parade, Sari Sari nights – as it was at Derby Feste in 2010, and is also magical enough to hold court and be installed on its own in a fixed location.
In 2010, it was central to the Diwali celebrations at Trafalgar Square and Neasden Temple.
