Nutkhut have been creating dance and performances for over 10 years, from Bollywood dances on the outdoor steps of a museum to an interactive children’s show in a big top tent.
Originally co-commissioned by Greenwich and Docklands International Festival and the Mayor of London, Bollywood Steps is a unique, large-scale British Bollywood outdoor dance spectacle, created and directed by Nutkhut’s Co-Artistic Director, Simmy Gupta.
Bollywood Bites is a highly energetic, vibrant, small-scale dance piece. Drawing on the charm of Bollywood films, the piece showcases the talents of a diverse range of British dancers.
Meridian is a small-scale contemporary dance piece. Presented in the round, encircled by pots of fire, Meridian is performed by 3 stunning dancers, presenting contemporary choreography inspired by the classical movements of Kathak.
Movieplex - a Masterpiece in Miniature - is a travelling cinema and museum, which brings the story of Shanta Rao Dutt and his filmmaking dynasty to life.
