Nutkhut and Ali Williams Productions are looking for performers for an exciting new outdoor touring show called Princess and the Chickpea.

The Princess and the Chickpea is an introduction, through storytelling, circus, dance and comedy to the interconnected strands of South Asian dance from Kathak to Balinese via Flamenco and Bharatanatyam.

We are seeking South Asian Dancers/Performers (all genders welcome) for touring Festivals and Melas in summer 2020.

Must be available mid April/May for rehearsals and for work most weekends from 24th May until early September.

Application deadline is 31st January 2020 with auditions taking place early February 2020.

We’re growing our Stilt Walking family of Princesses, Maharajah’s and DJ’s!!

If you’re a Stilt Walker with great character and oodles of enthusiasm then we would love to hear from you.  We’re looking for walkers experienced on Pegs and Dura’s with a passion for outdoor performance and a love of characterisation.

This is a paid freelance role on an agreed daily rate, touring events and festivals throughout the UK and beyond!

Please Note:  Own stilts are not essential, though can be used if preferred.

Are you an experienced Craft Workshop Leader?

We’re looking for freelance craft workshop leaders experienced with groups of all ages to facilitate a variety of projects and are especially keen to hear from you if you have experience of lantern making of all styles.  This is a paid freelance role, on a daily rate, which will be agreed dependent on experience.
